Access the user management page at Admin → Users

User management is separate for each workspace. So when you create a new workspace, you will need to add existing users as well as new ones.

Roles

Users can be assigned one or more roles (columns). This is is what they allow users to see/do in the app (rows):

Propose new conditionals and edit them afterwards

Open Invite Links

Creating a link

These are links that can be used by anyone to gain access this workspace (they can even be forwarded on). They are good for when you don't have everyone's email (e.g. in a workshop). You can disable them at any time, and if the data is sensitive you should try and remember to do this after.

Once created, the invite link is listed below.

Sharing with new users

Open invite links are the easiest way to allow access to users when you don’t have a list of their emails in advance. It is less secure, so please only use if you don’t have emails.

Join code

This is good for users without access to a phone or don’t like QR codes. Go to join.swiftcentre.org and enter the code. Links to a question will have this code displayed on that questions results page.

Copy a link to the clipboard to paste in an email or wherever you want.

QR Code

This is a QR code representation of the invite link. Use the right click menu on the QR code to save or copy to then use in a PowerPoint or wherever you want.

note: if you change options, the link will change so make sure to update the QR code if you edit the link.

Access Requests

Requesting

Requests from people who open a link within a workspace (e.g. a question) and they don’t have permission to it. This can be a user who hasn’t used Swift before, or something with access to another workspace but not this one.

The access request will appear in this list, and the workspace owner will receive a notification.

Responding to requests

All admins can view and respond to access requests.
